Flake is the most forgiving finish for a working garage: the chips add grip underfoot and hide dust and tire marks between cleans. Medium flake shows more texture from standing height, and if you would rather have one clean color, solid color epoxy goes wall to wall with no pattern.
An epoxy floor is a resin coating that bonds to the concrete and cures into a hard, sealed surface. It covers old stains, stands up to spills and oil, and wipes clean. Epoxy is also the base for the flake, solid color and metallic floors we lay; metallic epoxy is poured so it moves like marble under the gloss, and no two floors come out the same.
Polyaspartic is a fast-curing coating used on garage floors, often as the clear topcoat over a flake system. It holds its color in sunlight, which counts on an Arizona patio or a garage that sits open. Ask us whether it suits your floor when we quote.
Patios, walkways and pool decks get coated too, and not every slab needs a colored coat. Grind and seal diamond-grinds the concrete back and seals it; polished concrete takes the slab through finer and finer diamonds until the concrete itself shines, with no coating on top.
