What it is

Flake Floors, explained

A flake floor is an epoxy coat with colored vinyl chips broadcast across it while it is still wet, then sealed under a clear top coat. The speckle breaks up the surface, so dust, tire marks and small scuffs disappear into the pattern instead of standing out.

The chips also give the floor texture, which helps with grip, and the color blend is chosen to suit the space, from grays and blues to darker mixes like the charcoal floor in our photos.
