Polished Concrete, explained
Polished concrete is not a coating. The floor is ground with diamond tooling in stages, each pass finer than the last, and the surface is hardened along the way until the concrete itself takes on a shine. What you see is the slab, not a layer sitting on top of it.
Because there is no coating to wear through or peel, it suits big floors that take a lot of foot traffic, like the commercial rooms and hallway in our photos.
- Commercial spaces
- Offices and showrooms
- Hallways and corridors
- Homes with exposed slabs

Polished Concrete FAQ
What is the difference between polished concrete and grind and seal?
Both start with grinding. Grind and seal stops earlier and relies on a sealer for its sheen; polished concrete keeps grinding through finer diamonds so the concrete itself carries the shine.
Is polished concrete slippery?
A polished floor is smooth, so it can be slicker when it is wet or dusty than a textured finish. If the space gets wet, mention it when we quote.
How long does it take?
Most garages are done in a couple of days. One of our customers put it this way: “they transformed my garage floor in just 2 days.” We will give you a timeline for your space when we quote.
Do you work outside Phoenix?
We work across the Phoenix area. Call or text (480) 878-9046 with your address and we will tell you straight away.
How do I get a price?
Send the form on this page or call (480) 878-9046. The size of the space and the condition of the slab decide the price, so every job is quoted on its own.
